The ENSV is managed by a Director, administered by a steering committee, a board of directors, and is equipped with a scientific council and a laboratory council. The Director of ENSV is assisted by a Secretary General and supported by Deputy Directors responsible for:
- of teaching, degrees, and continuing education,
- of doctoral training, scientific research and technological development, innovation and entrepreneurship promotion,
- of information and communication systems and external relations,
- of the Library.
The Management Council, chaired by the Director, includes the Deputy Directors, the General Secretary, the Department Heads, and the Research Laboratory Managers. Its missions are:
- to study the development prospects of the School.
- to develop and propose the allocation of the School’s operating budget project.
- to prepare the annual report on training and research.
- to give its opinion on any matter submitted by the Director.
The Scientific and Pedagogical Council is composed of the President of the CS, the Deputy Directors, the Heads of Departments, and the Teachers elected by their peers (Associate Professors, Assistant Professors). This Council issues opinions and recommendations on various points inherent to the functioning of the School, and more particularly on:
- the annual plans for undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
- The projects for the creation, modification, or dissolution of research laboratories.
- the program of scientific and technical events organized by ENSV.
- the annual plan for training and professional development of teachers abroad.
The Department Council, chaired by the Director, is composed of the Heads of Departments, the Coordinators of preclinical and clinical education, the Heads of Laboratories, the Heads of research projects, and the Professors. He is responsible for:
- to give its opinion on the organization and content of teaching and research.
- to plan and propose teacher applications for training, professional development, and retraining abroad.
- to give its opinion on the promotion of teachers.
Other official structures support the previous ones to make the management of ENSV operational and dynamic, these include:
- from the Center for Information and Communication Systems and Networks, Tele-education, and Distance Learning (CSRICTED), responsible for the development of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) and the implementation of ICTs dedicated to Education (ICTE), namely videoconferencing and tele-education.
- From the Communication and Information Unit.
- from the “Quality Assurance” Unit, created by decision of the MESRS and which aims to promote the development and application of quality assurance practices in university institutions, including the ENSV,
- from the Support Unit for Project Leaders in the Creation of Agro-Veterinary Businesses, named the Training-Innovation-Entrepreneurship “FIE” Unit, established within the framework of the new state policy related to the creation of innovative businesses for students of Grandes Écoles.
Furthermore, internal commissions and units have been established to reflect on the main concerns of the School in order to revitalize and optimize ENSV’s activities, such as:

- The “Health and Medical Prevention” unit
- The “Student Scientific, Cultural, and Sports
- Activities” unit
